I'm going to a hometown college and I'm still anxious as hell, though it's subsided a bit after talking to my dad. My problem has always been that I get too engrossed online and ignore everything else. Or, hell, I just ignored everything by absentmindedly doing something I didn't even care to do as a due date suddenly came closer and closer. I watched TV, used the Internet, whatever. Procrastination.

It started in fifth grade, and I'm certain that if I just stay of the net and TV for awhile and focus enough that studying or doing an assignment when it's assigned becomes a freaking hobby. So I'm trying to take things seriously for once, which I haven't for a long time -- I realized just now that I personally haven't put an ounce of seriousness in any of my classes or scores for years now.

Well, it's a lot of fancy words to write on the damn Internet, and I feel like an idiot putting all this done because fancy words have never done anything for me, since in the long run I've never put in the care. But I so, so want to actually manage my life for once. Follow a damn study pattern that I know is regular to most people, and thus they're wondering how the hell I've never managed.

Anyway, I know I'll never last not using the Internet, as my mother's reminded me, so I'll try to limit the time to nighttime, and not too long into it. 9 to 10 or so. I want to go to sleep right now, so I'll cut this entry short and leave.

Bruce Coville and Leonid Gore's homoerotic Hamlet picture book...FOR KIDS!

AND APPARENTLY SOLD USED FOR $50, NEW FOR $170. WTF. IS IT REALLY SOMETHING LIKE COLLECTOR'S EDITION? I always joked it was to people I told about it, for all its gloriously empathized gay between a pretty Horatio and Hamlet, but holy crap.

It's what got me reading Shakespeare back in 8th grade (14 years old); I found it in my school library. 8D ...don't look at me like that.

It hurts my Fujoshi soul when you do.

Anyway, it was damn faithful, quirky and dark, despite the homoerotic slant I saw everywhere in the book. I said don't look at me like that, dammit!
